2011 iXS Racing Guide







iXS are widely regarded as having reinvented downhill racing on the European mainland and 2011 sees them continuing in that vein.

Check out the race guide above for dates, venues and any other info on the iXS Downhill Cups for 2011.

The Premier League is the iXS European Downhill Cup, favourite of riders with a spare weekend between European World Cup Rounds. The EDC visits former and current World Cup venues such as Pila (Italy) and Leogang (Austria). Tracks are long, steep and technical, designed to test every aspect of riding prowess.

The Swiss Downhill Cup is the premier Swiss downhill series. Taking in the sights of some perennial Swiss downhill tracks such as Wiriehorn and Anzere.

The German Downhill Cup is desgined to be a more entry-level series, with the season opener at Europe's largest mountain bike festival, the iXS Dirtmasters (4th-5th June, Winterberg, DE). Tracks are shorter, but still have all the features of the EDC.
