Nukeproof riders excel at Irish NPS

The first round of the Irish NPS took place at Rostrevor, County Down, last weekend where Nukeproof Junior team riders Dan Sheridan and Christopher McGlinchey took first and second place, respectively, while other Nukeproof-supported riders including Ben Kennedy and Tom Sheridan fared well too.

Once again, Nukeproof Junior team members Dan Sheridan (2:16.306) and Christopher ‘Kipper’ McGlinchey (2:16.348) impressed in their category taking the top two spots with times that placed them seventh and eighth in the Elites. The lads are definitely ones to watch for the future, and seem to be getting on very well with their new bikes.

In the Juvenile men race, Nukeproof-supported Irish rider Ben Kennedy took second place with a time of 2:31.082 ahead of MBW Racing’s Jacob Dickson and behind MBW's Luke Cornforth (both Nukeproof components sponsored riders), while at the other end of the scale Nukeproof-supported Grand Veteran rider Tom Sheridan took the win with a time of 3:12.027. MBW's Cameron Cornforth also took the win in the Under16's.

Other notable mentions for riders piloting the Nukeproof Scalp include Michael Cowan (3rd Master Men); Ian McIntyre (2nd Veteran Men); Dale McMullan (5th Master Men); Damien Duggan (8th Master Men).
