Nuke Proof rider Lukas Mechura leads the European 4X series

Following his second placed position at the third round of the European Fourcross Series in Winterberg, Germany, Nuke Proof’s Lukas Mechura is now leading the series.

Riders from all over the world took part in the event including Australia’s Jared Graves. During the event, Lukas had an unusually good qualification run followed by four excellent rounds winning all races. In the semi final Lukas managed to place second to Graves who he then met again in the final finishing second.

Speaking after the event Lukas said “In my final I had line 4 on the gate which is not good and I had to do very fast gate to close rest of the riders. My gate was fast and I got to the first corner on second place behind Jared and we came through the finish line like that also.”

With 2 more events left, next week’s event in the UK and an event in Austria the title of European 4X champion is looking good for Lukas.
