Rick Minshull took a very respectable 23rd place (out of 160!) in his qualifying heat and was set in Row F in the main Mega Race. With the weather closing in and the race in danger of being cancelled due to the storms the race winner was Swiss rider Rene Wildhaber - Red Bull.

Amazingly 16 year old Danny Hart - Lapierre, was the top Brit in 14th place overall & was nearly 8 minutes ahead of any other Junior!
